during a recent visit to skylight books, i was immediately wooed by the pretty pink jacket & beautifully pressed title of graphic design for celebration, a book of printed work from japan. since wedding projects make up a lot of the work that i do, i often have an eye out for invitation inspiration, & this book offers a generous trove of newness to me. it’s nice to become acquainted with the way people elsewhere are exploring design (& getting to see fresh work that hasn’t been pinned all over the place)! 

that whole “don’t judge a book by its cover” notion? i often leave it at the door…
