send love

my dear friend bruce chan is a lover, nurturer, and champion of this here city los angeles – he knows almost every corner of it, and encourages his fellow angelenos to take part with him in shaping it for the good. he always had that signature sociability, and enjoys connecting folks and seeing the results. it's fitting that bruce is my oldest friend here, the first friend i made when i arrived in los angeles for school.   

in the recent winter issue of good magazine, bruce outlines 5 simple and thoughtful steps to writing a love letter to your city. national letter writing month is nearing – reserve a day to send some love to the place you call home.
