the stories of makers

support the makers is the publication project of codi ann thomsen, a thoughtful writer and talented craftswoman based in chicago. over a year's span she created her own series of books, limited in number due to her hand-making each one. for the last in this series, codi ann was moved to focus on sharing the stories and processes of makers, in hopes of providing warm encouragement to others in the creative community. she has kindly invited me to be a part of it, along with ashley lopes (woodlark), daina fischer (a gentle woman), hannah wright, jessie webster (sweet thing blog), kay gehshan, and emily brock (board & bread).
